We will begin this week with an ecosystem "scavenger hunt" outside on the school playground. We will look for producers (plants) and consumers (animals/bugs) as well as any other parts of the ecosystem we find such as non-living factors like rocks and soil.
In addition to this we will continue to monitor our "ecosystems in a jar" each week for the next 4 weeks as we continue to study different elements of ecosystems. Once again this link contains are all the vocabulary words students need to know for this unit.
