The students big project, the “Diorama”, is due on Monday for 25 points. It should only be over the 1 sphere of Earth they were assigned. If you need more information on this project follow this LINK.
Next week the students will have a moment to show off their dioramas and then they will be put into a “Earth” group to work on a presentation for another 25 points. They will be required to share how the 4 systems of Earth interact with each other to make life possible on Earth!
Week at a Glance:
MONDAY (TUESDAY): "Diorama and Group Presentation"
1 - Student will place their Dioramas in the Science Lab until their class begins!!!
3 - We will have a "carousel" in which the kids get to see everyone's diorama.
4 - Students will be assigned an "Earth" group (1 geo, 1 hydro, 1 atmos, 1 bio) and start working on their group presentation from a "Presentation Menu"
WEDNESDAY (THURSDAY): "Work on Group Presentation"
1 - Groups will continue to work (and finalize) their presentations.
2 - Presentation have to meet certain requirements: (1) how do the spheres interact with each other (2) what is the impact of humans on the spheres (3) Individual participation
FRIDAY: "Group Presentations begin!"
Presentations begin on how the "Earth System" provides life through the interaction of the 4 spheres!
