RUTH DOYLE MIDDLE SCHOOL
Observe. Question. Infer
This week will be very busy (this very well could become favorite phrase this year) and we have a lot to cover in a short amount of time. The first thing we need to do is finish up last week's lesson by conducting the Rubber Band Variables Lab, graphing our data, and following this lesson up with a Variables worksheet.
Once we have covered these topics we can move into the next phase of the Scientific Method: Writing a Hypothesis and Experimentation! In order to accomplish this we will perform 2 experiments: Save Same", to practice writing procedural steps, and "Dirty Hands" which will explore the concept of using a control group vs. an experimental group.
There will be no "Fast Friday" this week and we will run a BABA schedule. Don't forget about the "Scientific Method Project" that is due next week on Friday, Sept. 16!
