This is a busy week with lots of assignments - 5 to be specific: Scientific Method flip chart, Rubber Band Variables Lab, A Variable Way to Practice Variables Worksheet, Forming a Hypothesis... and of course their Scientific Method Project at home due in 2 weeks!
Last Friday we didn't quite have enough time to finish the introduction to the Scientific Methods Project so we will begin the week finishing this introduction. Then we will move into the first 3 parts of the Scientific Method - Question, Research, Hypothesis!
Week at a Glance:
Monday: Finish introducing "Scientific Method Project" (50 points) and pass out the rest of the paperwork for this project, get ALL kids signed into Google Classroom, record steps of the scientific method into science journals, make Scientific Method Flip Chart (15 pts)
Tuesday: Same as Monday...
Wednesday: Observing and asking Questions "M&M in H20 vs Vinegar", Observing and questioning the snake, Rubber Band Variables Lab & Line Graph (15 pts), A Variable Way to Practice Variables (15 pts)
Thursday: Same as Wednesday...
Friday: Practice Student Oath, Grade Wednesday's work (Lab Sheet, Line Graph, Variables Worksheet), Forming a Hypothesis Worksheet (12 pts)
